Our state-of-the-art ethanol biorefinery is setup on a large land parcel of 272+ acres in Chittanur village, Marikal Mandal of Narayanpet District, Telangana. This unit was setup under the biofuel policy and Ethanol Blending Programme (EBP) of Government of India and is a significant contributor to the success of E20 blending initiative.

Our Founder

Late Dr. Mohan Rao Dodda

Founder Managing Director

Late Dr. Mohan Rao Dodda was a respected chemist and accomplished entrepreneur, best known as the founder and managing director of Symed Labs, Chemipack India, and Jurala Organics.
He began his journey by founding Symed Labs, a leading API manufacturing company that grew under his leadership and was acquired by a U.S.-based private equity firm in 2020. In 2021, Dr. Rao established Jurala Organics with a vision to support India’s biofuel and green energy goals. He led the company from its inception in September 2021 until his untimely passing in June 2025.
Dr. Rao’s legacy continues to shape the company’s values and direction, inspiring its mission toward sustainable growth and innovation.

Our Leadership

Dr. Kiran Kumar Telukunta

Managing Director

Dr. Kiran Kumar Telukunta is a physician by training, a seasoned entrepreneur and corporate leader. After the demise of our founder, Dr. Mohan Rao, Dr. Kiran was appointed as the full time Managing Director and assumed complete executive responsibilities of the company in July 2025. Earlier, he served as Executive Director of the company and managed the day-to-day manufacturing operations as well as procurement, marketing & sales functions. Dr. Kiran was associated with Jurala right from inception, and played a key role in establishing this industry and in a very short time frame shaping it into one of the leading ethanol manufacturers in the country. Prior to Jurala, Dr. Kiran managed the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and administrative functions at Symed Labs.

Dr. Vamsi Krishna Bandi

Director

Dr. Vamsi Krishna Bandi is a Founder and Board Member of Jurala Organics Dr. Vamsi is also the Managing Director of the Hetero Group of Companies, one of India’s largest pharmaceutical businesses with a global footprint, where he leads the technical, commercial, and supply chain operations. With deep industry insight and leadership experience, Dr. Vamsi plays a key role in shaping Jurala’s strategic direction and long-term growth.
