Ethanol

We have setup a state-of-the-art grain-based distillery to produce 400 Kilo Liters per day (KLPD) ethanol as part of Government of India’s Ethanol Blending Programme (EBP). Ethanol produced at our plant is supplied exclusively to the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and is used for blending with petrol.

We use a highly efficient manufacturing process based on dry milling, integrated distillation & evaporation, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology. With a very high level of energy integration across multiple sections, our distillery operates with a low-carbon foot print.

Distiller’s Grain (DDGS)

Distiller’s Grain also popularly known as DDGS is a nutrient-rich, high-protein co-product of the grain-ethanol production process. After removal of starch, the leftover material is mineral rich with fiber, fat, and highly digestible protein and is FDA certified animal-feed grade.

DDGS is widely used as an animal feed ingredient and provides a reliable, high-quality, nutritious food to a wide range of farm and milch animals including cows, buffaloes, and poultry, fish and aqua industries.

We use energy-efficient Tube Bundle Dryers to produce DDGS with high-protein and low moisture and is widely recognized in the animal feed industry for our consistency and quality. With nearly 200 MT per day production capacity, we are one of the largest suppliers of DDGS to the animal feed industry in South India.

Liquid Co2 and Dry Ice

We have setup a state-of-the-art plant with scrubbers and liquification equipment to capture CO2 generated in the fermentation process and convert it to Liquid Co2. As CO2 produced from ethanol fermentation process has high purity and is nearly a saturated gas, we capture, store and supply CO2 in liquid form to carbonated beverage companies and food processing industries. Part of the CO2 is also converted into Dry Ice and is supplied for use in food, seeds, and pharmaceutical industries.
